The curriculum was developed in the 70s and has stood the test of time extremely well – MBSR is the most widely used mindfulness programme in the world today. It is structured to suit anyone who suffers from stress and anxiety no matter what the cause of the stress or anxiety may be. As the founder, Jon Kabat-Zinn famously once said: “From our point of view, as long as you are still breathing there is more right with you than wrong with you”.
